Dennis Sporleder is a seasoned business executive with over four decades of experience in business development, sales, sales management, and leadership development. Over the course of his 43-year career, he specialized in the medical device industry, focusing on medical capital equipment, surgical endoscopy, and minimally invasive procedures, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic
surgery.
Dennis built a distinguished career with industry leaders such as The Kendall Company (Covidien, Inc.) and The Olympus Corporation of the Americas. He held various leadership roles, including Sales Representative, Regional Manager, Area Vice President for the Western U.S., and National Vice President of Sales for the Surgical Endoscopy Group. His extensive tenure in sales and management provided him with a deep understanding of business strategy, team leadership, and contract negotiations.
After retiring from Olympus in 2017, Dennis leveraged his expertise to establish Dennis Sporleder Consulting, LLC, where he provided consulting services for group contract negotiations in the medical products sector. Serving as a coach in the inaugural BRDG Showcase Competition gave him the opportunity to mentor a team of talented and motivated students. The experience was incredibly rewarding, as he witnessed their growth in confidence, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Originally from the Chicago area, Dennis was the first in his family to attend college, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Northern Illinois University. He began his sales career at Campbell Soup Company, where he received foundational sales training before transitioning into the medical device industry.
Now residing in Southern California, Dennis enjoys traveling with his wife, Carol, and spending quality time with their family.
